Bike, Auto, Car and EV Rentals for CityRyde Sarathis
Do not own a vehicle? CityRyde helps eligible Sarathi applicants discover bike and EV bike rentals, auto and EV auto-rickshaw rentals, and car and EV car rentals offered by independent CityRyde-approved vendors. Rental fees and deposits are paid directly to the vendor, while CityRyde onboarding can help qualified Sarathis access ride or delivery opportunities after all vehicle and driver checks are completed.
Bike, Scooter and EV Bike Rentals
A petrol scooter, motorcycle or EV bike rental can help an eligible Sarathi begin bike taxi or parcel delivery work without purchasing a two-wheeler. Compare daily, weekly or monthly vendor plans, then verify commercial eligibility, insurance, maintenance, fuel or EV charging, battery range and kilometre conditions before paying the CityRyde-approved vendor directly.
Auto-Rickshaw and EV Auto Rentals
A CNG, petrol or EV auto rental may help a licensed applicant access CityRyde auto taxi opportunities without owning an auto-rickshaw. The independent vendor decides availability, deposit, rent, permits, insurance, charging or fuel and vehicle-return terms. The Sarathi pays that vendor directly and must complete CityRyde onboarding before accepting eligible auto ride requests.
Car and EV Car Rentals for Sarathis
A commercial car or EV car rental can give an approved Sarathi access to car taxi and eligible outstation cab opportunities without immediate vehicle ownership. Confirm the category, permits, insurance, maintenance, charging access, operating range and daily or monthly costs with the CityRyde-approved vendor. Rental access supports earning opportunities, but rides and income depend on demand and performance.
Bike, Auto, Car and EV Rental FAQs for Sarathis
Bike, EV bike, auto-rickshaw, EV auto, car and EV car rentals available through the CityRyde program are offered by independent CityRyde-approved vendors. CityRyde helps eligible Sarathis discover vendor options but does not collect the vehicle rent. The Sarathi enters into the rental arrangement and pays rental fees, deposits and other applicable charges directly to the selected vendor.
An eligible applicant who does not own a vehicle may use an approved bike, EV bike, auto-rickshaw, EV auto, car or EV car rental to complete CityRyde Sarathi onboarding. Activation depends on identity and licence verification, vendor approval, vehicle documents, permits, insurance and local service availability. Renting a vehicle enables access to ride opportunities but does not guarantee bookings or income.
Before accepting a daily, weekly or monthly vehicle rental, review the vendor's rent, security deposit, payment schedule, kilometre limits, maintenance responsibilities, insurance, permits, taxes, fuel or EV charging costs, battery and range conditions, damage policy, late fees and return terms. All payments and rental disputes are handled directly between the Sarathi and vendor under their agreement.
Choose a commercial-use petrol or electric vehicle that matches your valid driving licence, CityRyde service category and local transport rules. Bike and EV bike rentals may suit bike taxi or parcel work, auto and EV auto rentals may support auto rides, and eligible car or EV car rentals may support cab bookings. Confirm vehicle eligibility, charging access and operating range with CityRyde and the approved vendor before paying.
