CityRyde Mission, Vision and Core Values for Future Urban EV Mobility
Our Core Values: Safe, Fair and Inclusive City Travel
Safety, fairness, inclusion, trust and responsible innovation guide how CityRyde designs every ride experience. Our approach supports verified Sarathi participation, clear trip information, transparent local taxi fares and gender-matched ride preferences where eligible Sarathis are available. We want affordable city rides to create value on both sides of the platform: dependable mobility for customers and dignified earning opportunities for bike, auto, car and EV Sarathis. CityRyde's zero-commission model is designed to help eligible Sarathis retain the completed ride fare, subject to applicable taxes, payment charges and platform terms.
Our Mission: Accessible Rides and Better Sarathi Opportunities
CityRyde's mission is to make everyday urban travel safer, more affordable and easier to access through dependable bike taxi, auto taxi, cab, car taxi and electric vehicle ride options. The platform is being developed for office commutes, student travel, neighbourhood trips, and first-mile and last-mile connectivity in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, followed by phased expansion to more Indian cities. Transparent fares without a demand-surge multiplier, safety-focused platform tools and flexible ride opportunities are intended to help riders plan city travel confidently while enabling Sarathis to build sustainable daily earnings.
Our Vision: Build a Cleaner Urban EV Mobility Network
CityRyde envisions electric mobility in India becoming a practical everyday choice, with EV bike taxis, electric auto-rickshaw rides and EV car taxis supporting cleaner urban transport. The platform can help accelerate sustainable mobility by creating rider demand for eligible EV trips, onboarding compliant EV Sarathis, supporting battery-range-aware ride allocation and connecting Sarathis who need vehicles with CityRyde-approved EV rental vendors. As CityRyde expands in phases, collaboration with charging, fleet, finance, insurance and mobility-technology providers can strengthen low-emission last-mile connectivity across future service cities. EV ride availability will depend on local operations, charging readiness, vehicle compliance and Sarathi supply.
