These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, an independent service provider ("Driver Partner"), and City-ryde ("the Aggregator"). By registering on the City-ryde Platform, you acknowledge that you are a "Gig Worker" as defined under the Code on Social Security, 2020, and an intermediary user under the IT Act, 2000.
1. Scope of Services & Specialized Categories
City-ryde operates as a digital marketplace. Unlike traditional models, City-ryde offers specialized "Identity-Matching" services to enhance safety and inclusivity.
- Female-to-Female: Female Driver Partners may opt into this category to provide services exclusively to female riders.
- Male-to-Male: A specialized matching protocol for male-only commutes.
- Elderly-to-Elderly: Driver Partners aged 55+ may opt to serve senior citizens, requiring a higher threshold of patience and assistance.
- Physically Challenged Partners: Drivers with disabilities (Divyangjan) operating modified "Invalid Carriages" as per Section 2(18) of the MV Act.
2. Eligibility & Onboarding (MVAG 2025 Compliance)
Per the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, 2025, you must satisfy and maintain the following:

3. Fare Structure & Payment Terms
- Base Fare: Fares are calculated based on State-notified rates. City-ryde may apply pricing based on the average cost of living of that state, where City-ryde operates.
- Commission: City-ryde does not retain any commission. Drivers keep 100% of their trip earnings.
- Settlement: Payouts are instant and are not retained, unless in few situations.
- Tipping: We recommend our drivers not to push customers over tips. We have a strict no push tip policy. If the customer is willingly giving you a tip, you may accept it, but no demanding.
- GST: 5% GST is applicable on trip fare.
4. Digital Conduct & IT Act Compliance
As an "Intermediary" platform user under the IT Act, 2000:

5. Specialized Operating Procedures
Female Driver Partners (Pink Ryde)
- Safety Protocol: Mandatory use of the in-app SOS button linked to the City-ryde 24×7 Control Room and local police.
- Right of Refusal: Female drivers have the right to cancel a ride if the rider is not the registered female user, without a cancellation penalty.
Elderly Driver Partners (Silver Ryde)
- Assistance: Expected to provide "Door-to-Door" assistance rather than "Curb-to-Curb."
