Riders: You must be at least 18+ years old. If you're over 12+ years, a guardian has to accompany throughout the ride.
Drivers: You must be at least 22+ years old and hold a valid Personal/commercial driving license with at least one year of driving experience.
Your vehicle must be an electric vehicle (Non-RTO vehicle is not allowed) in a good running condition (<2 years) and must have valid fitness, pollution certificates, ICAT and other certifications from the Vehicle Brand manufacturers. We are in alignment with Green India Initiative
For Riders and Drivers: The City-Ryde app automatically assigns the rider to a driver based on the gender and other parameters provided to us during the registration process. Our App is built on an algorithm to match Female to Female, Male to Male, Elderly to Elderly and Physically Challenged.
Yes, a nominal waiting fee applies if the driver waits at the pickup location for more than 3 minutes after arriving. For Elderly, Pregnant Women and Physically Challenged Users, Our drivers waits for 5 minutes. We have to respect our Drivers time, as they cannot afford to miss earning opportunity by keeping them waiting for longer time.
